05 / FOR THE PARENTS

PARENT
QUESTIONS.

Does my child need any experience?

No previous martial arts experience is needed to begin. The aim is to start with the basics and build from there.

What if my child is shy?

They don’t have to arrive feeling confident. Let the instructor know beforehand so their first session can begin with that in mind.

Which age group is right for my child?

WMA Kids is for ages 4–6, and WMA Juniors is for ages 7–11. Select a group in the trial section to see its focus. Final class placement will be confirmed with the instructor.

What should they wear for their first class?

Comfortable clothes they can move in are a good starting point, along with a water bottle. Uniform and footwear requirements will be confirmed before attending.

Where and when are the classes?

Classes take place at Trinity Catholic Lower School, Sydney Road, London, IG8 0TB (Thursdays), and Highams Park School, Church Avenue, London, E4 9QY (Tuesdays). WMA Kids (4–6): 17:30–18:20.
